Scott 222C & LK-72 speaker recommendations

Hey all! I am the proud owner of not one, but two awesome Scott tube amps! The 222C is the newest member of my family, and is in beautiful shape. It's mostly original parts, give or take a couple caps that were replaced. The LK-72 has been modded and modded and then modded some more. I'm looking for some advice on speakers for them. I presently own and love a pair of Ohm C2 speakers. I went through seven pairs to get to this pair. No matter how wonderfully balanced they are, I am concerned that they are not very efficient for tubes at 6ohms and 88dBs. I grabbed a pair of Klipsch KG4 speakers for cheap locally, but sometimes you get what you paid for. Although they are nice speakers, and work well with tubes, they aren't exactly as nice sounding as the Ohms overall.

So, the seller of the 222C recommended that I look into single-driver, full-range speakers. That's a path I have not gone done. I'm open to trying new things. Right now, my budget is $0 - but will grow to about $500-$1000 for a good used pair down the line. I'm just getting a head start on the hunting now!

Speakers I'd like to try:

Klipsch Heresy
Axiom M60
Ohm Walsh
De Capo Reference 3a

Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

Zoë
