HI All,
I have a beautiful Hickox 539B tube tester. What a nice tester. The roll chart does not include 6550 settings. I have been using KT88 switch settings but I lack bias and minimum transconductance values. So I made a hopefully informed guess at bias using 2.6 volts.
Do any of you have the Hickox 539B factory 6550 settings for bias and minimum transconductance. I don't know if this model Hickox overlapped the 6550's, they being a relatively new tube when tubes were still the only show in town. I suspect they did overlap but the former owner did not keep up his roll chart subscription.
