The 6L6 is part of the high voltage regulation circuit and the 5AR4 is the rectifier. Neither of these tubes will contribute to signal "tube rush". 5AR4 tubes can last a very long time. The 6L6 wil also last a long time in this circuit.If the previous owner left the unit on all the time or a lot of the time, the signal (6H30) tubes may well be used up.
