A hum can be caused by a transformer core somtimes being loose and can get into the output stage to the speakers..A bigger problem tho is the filter cap and if its leaky its not going to clean up the AC ripple content very well and that can cause a mechanical noise and an audible noise or hum at the speakers.Remove the gz34 and see if the hum goes away at the amp and then get back to us.
