I've got the MX-110Z and it's a very nice preamp. The tube tuner is also wonderful and I've enjoyed it a lot.
I have a HK Citation I which I'll bring up to snuff someday (ya' know the project sitting in the wings that keeps getting pushed back) but I have to say that it's tight on space inside that cabinet and I can see where completely refurbing it is going to take some time and be done under the magnifying glass. My guess is that it will be an excellent preamp someday. If you have a lot of 78s and pre-RIAA records, then it would be THE preamp.
