I have ben using Mullard cv4003's to replace the stock 12AU7's in my cj PV-12L. Upscale Audio in Califormia has a good stock of them. I find them a very sweet, balanced tube with fine resolution of detail.I'm curious about what qualities you are unsatisfied with regarding the EH 12AU7s.
