Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
I have just scored a wad of NOS and old pull tubes that have been sitting in a bulk bin in someones garage for who knows how long. The dust on some of them is so thick it make cough when sorting them.A bunch of them are desireables, and I have use for some - but for a lot of them I dont, so I will be selling them.
Thus, a couple questions are born:
If I am going to sell them on eBay, A'gon and elsewhere, should I risk the logos to cleaning or just leave the grime? If you were to get tubes with clean pins, good test results and good communicatin - but were dusty and grimey - would your sitisfaction decrease?
If cleanliness is next to godliness, what is the best way to clean tube glass that you have found is least damagaing to the logo print?
Thanks in advance,
David
