I recently purchased new amps (Canary CA-339s) that came with this tube in the front end. I am not really a tube roller and have stuck to Electro-Harmonix 6SN7s for the front end of my previous ASL Hurricanes. Are there folks out here who are knowledgeable in this tube type and have experimented with these brands? How would you describe the sonic differences? I find the Canarys have noticeably more high frequency energy than the Hurricanes. Should any of it be ascribed to the choice of front end tube?
