What a really nice tube, especially for the price. I got a pair of these recently and I have to say I am really impressed by this tube.
I have been listening to Sophia mesh plates for the last 9 months, and just love the sound they make; but as much as I hate to admit it the EH's just seem to have that sound that really appeals to me.
In my system they just sond right, to sum it up. I would say they are like the Amperex vs Mullard sound. The Amperex is more open and airy, where the Mullard is more sweet and lush sounding.
