Curious about some tubes .....

I came into a handful of RCA early ('50's?) white label 5963 black plates. No obvious date codes but some have a code of TA, TB, EH or NJ. The getter is what really caught my attention. It is a large square getter on a post but there is a little strip of metal (almost like a flat flag) attached to the getter at one end.

Any ideas (haven't found much in my searches) about these tubes?
