Chinese stuff: You should try the Sophia Electric Princess 300B Mesh (I heard it's the same as the TJ mesh..but Sophia Electric doesnt confirm..they said it's different). These tube has a midrange to crave for..Bass and Trebble are very good too. (www.sophiaelectric.com)Eastern European stuff: Have you heard of EAT (Eauro Audio Team) got great reviews..but i havent personally tried it (http://www.euroaudioteam.com)
American Stuff: Western Electric New Production: good sound, but seems to suffer quality control
If you amp allow lower plate disspation, you should definitely get the AVVT 300B Mesh...or if you are lucky enough to find a pair of AVVT300B...u'd be in heaven...too bad...these are so scarce these days. There's a few pairs left at jacmusic.com (only 300B Mesh, lower plate dissipation)
