Hello everyone, I am new to the single ended scene, being a push-pull guy for years I recently bought a 300B single ended amp on ebay to see what the hubub was about, I was imediatley hooked, Anyway I want to build my own single ended 300b amplifier, feeling I can do better than the chinese design I have ( V.A.L. VAA-300BA ) I have come across alot of schematics and seem to lean towards the JE labs with a single 6sn7 as the driver, I also want to use Lundahl Iron. My question is has anyone had any experience with this desigh? I do like the 6sn7 tube and the circuit is basic ,unlike my VAL wich has a 6ba6 and a paralled 6sn7 as a cathode follower and many capacitors...too many I belive. Also what would be better the LLl623 90Ma or the 120Ma, I think the 120Ma would be better but remember I am new to the single ended world. Lundhal aslo has the smaller 3k single ended iron but I was worried about saturating the core at low frequencies, any sugestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated
