In my humble opinion, the Tele 6SN7 is a rather poor sounding 6SN7, but it could just be me, for I also happen to think the Swedish Electronics 33S30 not good sounding, although in different ways. I have tried both tubes time and again over the last few years, and every time I was invariably disppointed, considering especially their robbery prices. So I did what to me was the logical thing -- sold them.Personally, the 6SN7's I like are the GEC B65, Brimar oval plates, Kenrad VT-231, Tung-sol roundplates and RCA grey glass VT-231 (very much so, although many may not think high of this tube)of the 1940's.
