I've been tube rolling in the driver section of my kt88 mono blocks. 6922's, 7308's, 6N1P and 6FQ7. The fq7's I have are beat to death, but they sound pretty fair. I stumbled upon the 6GU7. Pretty cheap to buy NOS. Searched for comments about its sound and came up empty.
Anyone have any experieince with these as substitutes for 6922's and the others named?
