Uses for hard-sounding Sovtek 6922s?

Is there some equipment where these are used in a way that their hard sound does not detract? I'm just trying to figure out if they are worth keeping around. I have a handful of new to nearly-new Sovtek 6922s that were purchased in ignorance or received as OEM in preamps and then removed.
Other than using them for breaking-in my new equipment, I don't see myself using them.
