Opinions pro or con, please. I've had a C-J PV-8 for about 1 1/2 years; used often during that time. Unlike a lot of you pack-rats out there, I'm trying to thin down my equipment collection some! Bascially, the extras. My "main" system is a C-J CAV-50. I also have as "spares" if you will, a Mapletree Magic 5 SE [crowd cheers] and some old Carver stuff [crowd boos]. I'm approaching the PV-8 issue as follows: it's a good pre-amp, but I have nothing it mates well with. Its output level is a bit much for the Carver amps. I don't "do" vinyl so the phono section is wasted on me.So...any reasons I shouldn't sell it? Thanks.
