Found a local person with a Tektronix 2236 scope for sale at a very reasonable price…so I need a quick course on what to look for before I purchase. It powers up and CRT seems fine, displaying a single line across tube. He has no probes and I have none of my own since this will be my first scope.Just some step by step instructions on what to look for would be very helpful. Thanks to all.
PS: Jim, this time I’ll carry it to the car!!
