Please help me ID these tubes

I have acquired several tubes said to be old NATO Polaris submarine stock.
They are white ink-labeled E188CC/7308.
Acid etched code on base is:
"GAC
V4D" the 4 may be a "delta"
Four seams on top of bottles, raised squares at opposite sides of shield, small halo getter attached to shield by a rectangle (not a wire), steel pins.
The boxes are generic white, labeled only "7308/E188CC" on top flap.
I suspect Siemens West German manufacture.
Is it possibly a 6DJ8?
