I just went through the same thoughts buying my first tube amp. I assume I will eventually move upward so my choice was based on, "Vintage appreciates, New depreciates".I also think it is easier on the pocket book to buy one that is re-furbished. Unless you can do it yourself. Regardless, you are in for a treat.
