If you like the way it sounds, STOP!Matching can be important in some situations and not so important in others. You do run the risk of shortening the life of a tube or tubes by having a substantial mismatch that forces one tube or section to work harder than the other.
Consider the Primaluna amps that need not have matched tubes due to circuit design vs many guitar amps that need matched pairs.
I admit to being very anal about my preamp tubes matching and I will go to my grave that way. ;)
