Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
I know this issue has been beaten half to death. And yes, I did read the previous postings. But I still have a couple of questions. I am about to replace the output tubes on my C-J Premier 12's (8 total) and want to get this right. First, are there ANY problems or disadvantages to replacing 6550's with a KT88 or KT90 tubes? Second, can I get recommendations for a tube that gives excellent imaging and a clear, extended high-end? I am not too concerned about a bass response. Thanks!
