I got some EL37 from a surplus seller. However they don’t match any of the EL37 pics I have seen on net. Some key issues:1. Mullard EL37 printed very stoutly. Can’t rub it off.
2. No date code etching anywhere.
3. No center hole on the guiding pin.
4. Mica wing spacer.At least they don’t look any special. I was expecting a formidable tube but this on is bit smaller than a 6L6G.
On the positive side, I know these came from the local radio station that used Leak equipment. The packaging is old time white box.
Are these Russian rebrands?
