Even if they have "fixed" the pins at the factory it'll be a long time before all the small pin tubes are flushed out of the system. It takes months for the tubes being produced right at this time now to make it to the USA.There were other problems besides the pins too.
Try the superb quality 6CA7 big bottle EH. It's quite a good tube, a lot of people have tried it recently and the feedback has been wonderful!
