Your not making nearly the power that you the 6550/kt88 makes..As I said the el34s were making 46 watts at .6% and the kt88s were 73 watts at .5% dist and at 60 watts distortion was at .23%. Its kind of neat to run them but the amps run in class B so the tubes conducting proportionally with amount of signal applied.
