I have had nothing but success with the ECC32 in my DIY phono which I built around 6SN7's. Check with the manufacturer to see if they will be OK in the EA-230 and if you get the go ahead then I think you may be pleasantly surprised at how good these ECC32's can be. As I said check with Berning "FIRST" before doing anything.
