Hi ,
'British Tungsram was a subsidiary of Tungsram Hungary'I take it that this is either an assumption or hearsay . So what other Soviet Bloc state-owned companies owned or ran British companies during the cold war ? Your information does not make any sense ! Look at the Tungsram logo's for example . Both the same ? Two different companies , two different locations , two different company names : 'Tungsram' (of Hungary) and 'British Tungsram' of London , UK . The association between the two companies was in the early days of valve manufacture , British Tungsram provided parts and expertise then both went their separate ways in the late 1930's
cheers
