Maybe the samples I auditioned would have been rejects (but isn't this screening part of GT's premium price?), or maybe they just didn't get enough "foo foo dust" to make their magic. Regardless, there are many less expensive new production tubes that are vastly superior in my estimation.What I want to know is why all the vendors on the Asylum say the Ei's are crap because of high rejection rates, but it's okay for a $24 Groove Tube 12AX7??? Was GT not screening these tubes or what??? Tell me again, what was that premium price for???? Must be the Foo Foo Dust!!!!
