Oh yes, Mullards will be smoother than the CBS, great tubes, but with less high end emphasis and a smoother bass. Like I said, the CBS are kind of "punchy" while remaining musical (not a bad thing). At least in my system.... The Raytheons sort of fall in the middle. Depends on what you like and your gear of course....
