First off, thank you so much for the kind words about Level II Plus. That was a long and agonizing path that led to that, it makes it all worthwhile when I see people so pleased with it.

I have nothing up my sleeve for the Cit II per se right now. I'm focused on a passive preamp kit (that is designed to be quite affordable and really high quality) that will work with the Citation line or other relatively high Z input amps. The first prototype is really good, so hopefully there'll be more to talk about soon. I may have a version with a small amount of gain that can drive low impedance loads too. But that does mean other projects go to the back burner.

Second, as long as the cathode resistors are closely matched the answer to your question is yes, the screw slots will be in very similar locations. Since the voltage that drives the meter is measured off the cathode resistors they need to be close too for the scenario to play out.

Of course, that is not an indication of transconductance match, only cathode current.
