I have ordered the Harmonic Technology cords ($180)for my M-60s and some additional ones w/o the IEC connector ($170) to hardwire in the SET monoblocks and tube Xover I'm building. I am using HT cords on my source components and their interconnects and cables throughout the system. They are, IMHO, the best buy out there if you are not going to go DIY.I know there has been a great buzz about them in the e-zines (Planet Hi-Fi; Soundstage), which is enough to usually put me off something. When a bunch of audio reviewers treat something like the Second Coming, it's usually time to watch your wallet. But after talking to Jim Wang at HT, I decided what the heck. I mean, if I don't give my sheckels to a nice guy like Jim, the IRS will come get them anyway.
Anyway, buy the HKs, find a guy who laid out the $2K on a ElectraGlide Fatboy and swap them out. Only take an extra large hanky for the guy to weep into.
