Tube amp for these speakers

Zu Druid, 101 db, 12 ohms. The former spec might mean just about any amp can drive them, and that seems to be true. I have a 2A3 that does a nice job except when asked to go loud in my large room.
I also use a Manley Stingray that, while it can go loud with most any music, leaves me wanting a bit for that SET sound, having tasted it with the 2A3. I do like the drive and 'sexiness' that the Manley exhibits, and my ideal amp would marry this with the holography, presence and transparency of a good SET. I do think the 5 ohm impedance of the Stingray may be out of sync with the Druid's 12 ohms in some way but am not experienced enough to pinpoint how. Is 845 the answer?

I would like to spend no more than $2K, lightly used or new.
