Luxman is still around and are the same company they always were.Luxman is a bit of an interesting story. They did go through some tough times, and a new management was brought in 5 years ago. The new management changed their business model completely. Now they are a Venture capital investors, and Luxman is a 100% owned subsidiary.
My understanding is that the audio business is barely out of (or still in) the reds, but the rest of the business makes money.
One way to keep a high end audio company afloat, I suppose. Along with MQ88, they still make a tube pre and a tube phono amp.
