You have it backwards. CB and amateur radio operators have NO resonsibility for interference if they are in compliance with FCC regulations. Almost all interference is due to the poor RF immunity of consumer electronics... they leave out RF filtering - a few cents saved per unit adds up!

Even though they AREN'T required to, most hams will help eliminate interference. CBers aren't likely to know enough to help (and if they're using a linear, are in violation of the FCC regulations).
