These are triple mica tubes, identical manufacturing to the Mullard originals, using the Mullard tooling that GT purchased when Mullard gave up the ghost.More importantly they sound identical to what I remember from my Mullards back in the day. Really very good sounding tubes! Very linear with a beautiful midrange and great air and space around the instruments. No bloating or trumpeting. Good bass and midbass detail which can be hard to find out there in the double triode tube marketplace.
And a steal at 20-21 bucks each on ebay. I just ordered 8 more to replace the remainder of my Golden Dragon Shunghang tubes.
I just love these tubes!!!!
