a cathode resister blows. I've seen a lot of PCB damage by resisters going and not on just amps either. An acquaintance just got told that his LS-5 could not be repaired by the factory because of PCB damage. This also holds for solid state too, as I've seen pcb's literally go up in a ball of smoke and fire with gaping holes in the board.Stu
