Some people hate Mullards! I have a pair that are highly touted. I don't like them. I've got some RCA black plates on the way. Then I'm going to get some new production tubes to try out and try out more vintage as time and money allow. For some of these really expensive ones like late 50s early 60s 12ax7s I'm also going to try them out used at 1/3 the price to see if I like the flavor.
