During a recent review of the Aesthetix Rhea phono stage the reviewer stated that he had immediatly tried GE 5751s in the VI sockets instead of the factory supplied 12AX7 Sovteks with good results.
Has anyone tried this ? The Sovteks do seem a bit lean to my ear and this might just help.
