New production - 7591 or EL34?

I'm planning a homebrew push pull amp, 35 to 40 watts. Garden variety Mullard 5 type circuit. Pentode or UL, I haven't decided yet. I was going to mod an Eico ST-70 but decided to just refurbish.
B+ will be around 450V. OPT will probably be Hammond 1650 with a primary z of 6600. Given this, would you plan on the 7591 from JJ/EH or the various EL34 offerings (although that will probably come down to Svet or JJ)?
