Thanks Chuck. The MF combo is quite detailed although smooth but for me lacks a little bass weight.I'd like a more filled out presentation if you know what I mean.I have a Gyrodec and PMC speakers both of which could be deemed analytical.I was thinking maybe tubes would be a good way of counterbalancing this.Have you been using the one as a pre amp with the five?
I was thinking of using the three with my solid state MF amp or alternatively using the MF pre amp (which is supposed to be still a great pre) with a Prima Luna power amp.What do you think?
What do you mean if you wasn't into vinyl you'd get rid of all your
other pre/amps? I am into vinyl myself and hardly listen to CD's.
Aren't the prima luna suitable for vinyl?.I wasn't intending to use my external phono satge and/or buying the phono stage board for the prima luna.regards,
