A quick search of the Nuthouse archives ("absolute phase") reveals this is a divisive issue. Some folks claim almost impossible to hear a difference. Others claim they can easily hear a difference.Currently my system consists of a Conrad-Johnson PV-8 (preamp) and a C-J CAV-50 Amp. The PV-8 line stage is phase inverting, the CAV-50 is phase correct. Since I don't use a phono (which is phase correct to the PV-8), and (I assume) a line source is phase correct, then this means I should reverse polarity for each of my speakers?
