Phillips owned Mullard, yes. Phillips owned a lot of tube makers. Mullards were made in England. Toward the end of the line, other Phillips and even non Phillips companies made some tubes branded Mullard. (Such as the IEC Mullard logo) These were made with the knowledge of Phillips.
They were not Mullards. They were branded Mullard. That didn't make them Mullards.
