ARC may well have used KT91s = Type I KT90s. I have a bunch of ARC KT91s that look identical to the blue-labeled VTL Type II KT90s I also have - loads of spot/tack welds, same shape sacrificial anode tab (at least that's what I've seen it referred to). These KT91s do have eight pins, rather than the 7 pins had by most 6550s/KT88s/etc. I don't know what this additional pin is for. Otherwise, they perform like you'd expect any other 6550/KT88/etc.- SJ
