"Their main customers-- guitar players-- seem happy too."That is completely untrue. On most boards, a preponderance of people who have tried these tubes complain of many problems including poor sound.
I've heard them and they aren't even remotely close to a Mullard, let alone any other NOS tube, and cannot even stand with any current manufacturer for that matter. GT's qa is non existant, which explains the high microphony rate after a few hours.
