Hello all,
I have the a.m. tube and there is a sticker on it where is written 1.9/2.0.
Please, can anyone tell me the meaning of that numbers, and the actual status of the tube? Is it a good reading or not?
I am using this tube in a power amplifier composed by n.1 12AX7, after that there are n.2 12AU7 and finally in the power stage there are n.4 EL34.
I would like to have some advice concerning the best tube to be used in the 12AX7 position, is it the 5751 a good choice? If yes, which type is the best for a fast and cristal clear sound? Is the Amperex(black plates) good?
