William.My scott amp is a lab 240 and not a 250.I dont what I was thinking but I have so dam many amps like you do its hard to keep track.Anyway I only have one and I was going to put it on ebay but if I could find another one id keep it.Maybe you sell me yours hehe.
Anyway every mono tube amp with el34s Ive seen doesnt have a choke.The dyna mark 2s dont as the hf50 eico doesnt and the scott 240 doesnt.I had the marantz nines for about 3 months and I think thats the only el34 mono amp that has a choke.
