The point I was making is that I couldn't see how if $80 wasn't "outrageous" then how could $50 be, that's all. I didn't tie the prices to any specific tube type per se, it was brought up based on your comment is all since I didn't follow your train of thought. I also mentioned the GT 12AX7M "clones" since you appeared to be looking for a good quality tube that was less expensive.

"Let's also be clear on the various grades of tubes that Upscale offers. There are three. You happen to chose the cheapest."

Actually I didn't, I chose the price on my own site. I sell fully tested CV4024 for $22.50 ea.

You said "These aren't the crappy Yugo tubes...". The only tube maker in Yugoslavia is Ei, so you did mention them even if you didn't realize it. I was simply responding to your comment on the "crappy Yugo" (meaning Ei, since they are the only maker) tubes, and I thought you'd like to know that Tesla was not a Yugoslavian concern.

I read that as saying you weren't aware that Tesla tubes were not Yugo(slavian), meaning they were not made by Ei. I added my comment on the current Yugo tubes as well.

That's all. No attacks, just an observation and some information I thought you might find useful or interesting. In re-reading the post below that's all I see anyway.
