Some tubes will measure gas but it is hard to say how much out of spec your tube is without knowing your tester and getting a feel for how the tube tester reacts to tubes. With my testers, I have used them enough to know what to be concerned about and what not to be. But, as you state, don't use your amp as a tester.ja in clear and breezy, Tucson, AZ
