I think my point is, is it possible at all to get such gain when the data book implies that the maximum theoretical is 100.
I am trying to calibrate my tube tester using first principles and physics, by measuring the input at the grid and output at the anode, and calculating the gain with a calculator….. No I haven’t measured the sovtek in a calibrated tube tester. I have a lot of NOS 12AT7s, I think I will try testing them, because they may be a bit nearer the published results….Confused slightly
