I have a Paragon 12A pre, I'm guessing most here have never seen one, much less heard one. But, I am guessing that my problem is not unique. First of all, the pre works fine. But, it does pop through both speakers on occasion, probably about one every 20-30 mins. It's not a really loud pop, (Perhaps a better term would be thump) but it bothers me. I've had this pre for about 20 years, and it has always done it, even after I last changed out all the tubes. I'm thinking it may be a defective cap...any other thought?Gene
