I once bid on some tubes he was selling, got outbid and then received a series of strange emails trying to talk me into buying them for the price of my highest bid. I didn't respond to any of them--I really distrust the whole "second chance" buying thing, as it seems like something that could too easily be abused by a seller using shills. Let me make it clear that I do not mean to say that madranker was using shills, only that I thought it was odd that emailed me several times trying to get me to buy, saying things like "you were willing to pay $135 for these yesterdy, buy them now you wont be disappointed" etc. Again, I'm not trying to imply that I have any evidence that this guy is unreliable--just that the whole thing was kind of weird and not the kind of behavior I encounter with most sellers.
